Thompson Pump Welcomes New Human Resources Director

PORT ORANGE, Fla. (August 6, 2008) - Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc., announces the hire of David Chappel as Human Resources Director.

Chappel brings 21 years of experience to the position with experience in group insurance underwriting, employee benefits, compensation and human resources consulting. He is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®). Chappel was previously employed by Masco Administrative Services and the KBR division of Halliburton as the Senior Manager of Global Compensation and Benefits with responsibilities throughout Europe, the Asian-Pacific rim and Middle East, including the U.S. Army logistics contract in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Chappel, a United States Army veteran, obtained his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Providence College.
