Thompson Pump Promotes Two Personnel to Branch Management

PORT ORANGE, Fla. (August 18, 2006) - Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc. in Port Orange, Fla., announces the recent promotion of Jeffrey Chancellor and Jim Brown to Branch Manager in the Gulf Coast region.

Chancellor and Brown, both former Operations Managers at Thompson Pump, will oversee rental, sales, and service for the Baton Rouge, La., and Panama City, Fla. B branch locations, respectively.

Chancellor, a five-year veteran of Thompson Pump and former Operations Manager, will oversee rental, sales and service for the Baton Rouge, La. Brown, a two-year veteran of Thompson Pump and former Operations Manager, for the Panama City, Fla. branch. The Branch Manager coordinates and manages all rental and sale contracts and service activities including customer interaction by way of sales calls, jobsite visits, handling rental & repair estimates and conducting product demonstrations. This person is responsible for the hiring and training of all their branch employees as well as overseeing accounts receivable and collections.
